Alliance war of today is it in season or not

Just asking if this war will be counted towards the season or not, as per kabam post that some alliances missed matchmaking so as you know war consume items and boosts that we don't wanna use in off season war so needs confirmation about that

    Loads of threads have been opened about this. However I can't find them now and no answers.

    We definitely need an answer before AWA starts

    I came on specifically to ask this same question. Would be really nice to know. I have absolutely no issues with this war not counting at all, so if we could get any answer that would be amazing. It is always frustrating to waste items and boosts unnecessarily.
