Death Matches

Hey everyone since the last round of maintenance I’ve noticed a lot more death matches in arena. So I’ve run into them in the T1, 4 star basic and 4 star featured arena. I have a pretty extensive 4 and 5 star roster and I’ve never had this issue until the last update. Has this been a problem for anyone else? Any feedback would be appreciated.

    I only get death matches on purpose. Sometimes they are fun to do if you have the right team and they give more points. But I never get them when I don't want to. The only arena I'm running at the moment is the 5* featured and I haven't had any issues.

    Ive noticed the same. To not loose the win streak I have to pay 5 to get reasonable match.

    The 5* arena has calmed down now unlike the extra dead pool arena. A team of 3 rank 3 5* were getting matched with 3 6* r2s was into even streak 100, I liked it though more challenging and more arena points

    Ya it’s just a little frustrating because it kind of defeats the purpose of arena grinding for units and battlechips if you have to spend units just to get a decent a match up or lose your streak. I know Kabam mentioned in the dev diaries that they were eventually going to fix death matches. But I feel this is getting out of hand now and needs to be looked into. Especially if it’s taking place in 4 star arenas where newer progressing players are grinding.

    Ya it doesn’t seem as prevalent in the 5 star featured arena’s. But it’s becoming more common in the 4 star featured, 4 star basic, T1 Alpha.

    Better to lose your streak than to burn units. I haven't done either in a long time, but when I did use units to change the match I found it took multiple times. A lot of "death matches" can be won. The only hard part is the AON tendency. I hope they tweak that but leave the hard matches for lower teams.
