Getting stun , when opponent is resisting my heavy attack

I was playing with my ghost rider , and had this problem twice , I was duelling two different guys , 5/50 thor and 5* rank 4 dr voodoo , when I use my heavy the opponent resists it and I got stun , this happened twice.
This is not a big bug but can arise problem is aw and duel , if the opponent have stand your ground mastery .

Yeah for some reason I've just recently come across this, about a few weeks ago was the first time. Has Resist always parried the attacker?
