DR. VOODOO VS GHOST

Has anyone else seen a Dr. Voodoo hit ghost while phased with a sp2. It just happened in war and obliterated me. I wasn't holding block or anything and had just phased so I know I wasn't out of my phase buff. I'm not really sure how he works but I'm pretty confused because he's never landed that on me through a phased before.

Could've been an odd combo. That reduces Ability Accuracy on the opponent. Could prevent phasing from causing a miss

Interesting. Only thing I can think of is if he threw sp2 on odd combo which cause AAR and allowed him to hit you while phased? I’ve used his sp2 odd combo to reduce chance of degen procing on me in act 6 global node. No retreat maybe? (Dash back twice get degen) his odd combo allowed me to bypass it a few times.

Gonna need some video as proof, are you sure your phase hadn't ended? Can you try and replicate it while recording?

I hadn't thought of that, that's a quite likely possibility

I don't really think AAR prevents ghost from missing opponents at that point in time. I've fought magneto with her, and he's got that AAR against her. Sometimes her phase timer mightn't start, she might not get the precision passive if it starts, but never has magneto not missed when she's phasing. Miss mechanic is a special ability in the game, the only way to bypass it is if you use a champ who's abilities directly states that they "can't miss" under a given set of conditions.
Against voodoo, his special 2 has a long reach, so maybe it hit you at the end of your timer, or maybe you tried to block, pressed the right side of your screen, or were dashing back at the instant of impact (I've noticed that sometimes this could count as blocking during a small window of time.)

Her description says she has 100% chance to cause opponent to miss while passing. Would make sense for other champs to reduce it

I feel like both of you are right. it seems like it should be possible to hit her in phase with aar, but it's never happened to me. it's usually either the precision doesn't trigger, phase doesn't trigger, neither trigger, or both trigger. but I've always been able to miss them in cases where my aa was lower than 100
