I've noticed a trend with Kabam. If something happens that causes us players to get something we shouldn't, like the recent excess gold or multiple rewards from the same quest, Kabam go all out to fix it, it's corrected within days, there's updates frequently, the ban hammer starts getting swung, we're told to change the way we play the game (the most recent update on the excess gold fiasco asks that we don't open crystals) but if it's something that effects quality of game...**** crickets. Like the AW exploit that the alliance who only placed 21 defenders won because of the broken scoring systems, Server issues up the ass, broken mechanics.

It's almost like they just want our money and don't care about delivering a decent product.

I don't understand how you've only just noticed. There have been hundreds of posts saying that exact same thing just in the last month

Dude. That alliance won bc they looked at kabam's scoring model and took a chance that their opponent wouldn't diversify defenders. And that's exactly what happened.

I agree the new war scoring is dumb. But to claim it's an "exploit" or is "broken" bc an alliance took a smart strategic gamble is simply inaccurate.

Ok, and you think this strange? No offence at all mate, but thats how all business run world wide. If something costs the firm money, they try to fix it asap. If it is something that they would like to fix, but it doesn't cost them anything while it is ongoing then there is no such rush to fix it

Its common sense, sure you would do the same in a business you run? Doesnt mean its not annoying, but it is logical

Not really. Businesses do obviously have the main goal of making money. But to do that they also know they need to keep the customer base as happy as possible and give them a product they can be pleased with to the fullest or they risk losing the customers business to their competitors.

This games just different because they take advantage of the stronghold they have on the players/customers based on the fact there really isn't another Marvel game out there on its level.

Most businesses don't have addicts for customers so that model doesn't work. If a restaurant keeps screwing over customers, they go elsewhere, it loses business and goes under. The marvel name and psychological tricks in MCoC give it an "advantage" over other business models and over us,

Not really though. Kabam are on the position that a lot of people have spent a lot of money and time and simply can't/won't walk away so they kind of have those people by the balls.

You can't continually screw over your customers and expect to stay in business.

All great replies, and all true. But we still have a choice to play or not, thats up to us isnt it?

The fact that there is no other Marvel game up at this level means they have created a game that is better than all the rest, is that not also true nthen?

The way I see it, Kabam have a very big to-do list. But things take resources, people and time. So what we want fixed arent at the top of that list. Doesnt mean they dont want to fix it, but its a business and they have to allocate resources the best way they think is best for the business

Its more of a copyright situation as to why there isn't another Marvel game out there like it. Many can quit, and do. The rest, just to much invested to quit and would rather sit around in hopes of improvement vs walking off with all their money and time sunk into the game.

And for those still sitting around with hope, they are still slowly fading off since this isn't like a normal business that pushes for improvements or listens to its customers.

Business also don't tell customers what they want or need, the customers tell them what they want.

Kabam/Netmarble comes off as the complete opposite. Think the new AW is a prime example. They had an entire player/customer base showing outrage and pointing out every issue wrong with it. In the end, it fell on deaf ears and the new war system was dropped on our laps. They pretty much got free advice from the ones who mattered most and chose to say, "you're wrong, this is what you're getting."

Do we even bother to reflect back on 12.0 as another prime example?

This bit is wrong mate. The companies that really grow and develop tell their customers what they want even when they dont know what it is already

    Hey there -

Wanted to drop in and let you know I answered a similar question over on this thread regarding different bugs:

    http://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/21478/why-do-pro-kabam-bugs-take-forever-to-be-fixed-but-pro-user-bugs-are-fixed-within-hours#latest

I'm really sorry there's been negative feelings on these matters and I hope this helps give further insight.

That doesn't fit here. We have a product, we know what it is, and we are clearly saying it is broken.
This isn't a matter of something working as intended or correctly and us looking for answers as to how we are using it wrong.
