    Lol, not even close.

    No hidden tiles.
    Too much movement required for portals.
    Too much boring non fight movement , move portal fight move portal move fight 5 hours later....zzzzzzzzzz 'ain't nobody got time for that!!!'
    Left path locked into top left mini boss.
    Nerfed defender tiles on first links too weak that make for sacrificial lambs at start of war.

    NO new increased rewards , get punishment skirmish rewards instead making us lose function in the game for a day or more and lose crystals.

    Defender kills is the least of the problems at this point, a total scrap and rethink is needed for AW because it's pretty obvious the QA was flawed and didn't include enough of the right people to make good basic decisions on what works and what would be enjoyable for everyone.

    It might help if the portal did not cost a movement. Get things to move along so you don't have to wait 3 hours to fight once.
    I love this game, but this is not an advancement in AW as advertised. It's a set back from what it was. You should have tested it first Kabam.

    Somebody suggested not allowing people to join attack phase if they didn't place defenders.

    Seems Kabam could implement this one change and all the rest would function as they intended.

    Easier solution is to give attacker points based on % of attackers left alive out of 150. Keep everything else as is. You eliminate the strategy of placing fewer defenders, because if you do your opponent only has to run the map for 100% exploration and 100% attack points.

    Remove points for attacker kills and add attacker diversity .That should make it more "FUN & INTERACTIVE"

    Now THAT makes for a much more interesting war - better yet if they built in character locks for offense and defense - 1 unique champ per level per room - there's your "skill" challenge.

    Make a variety of maps (and nodes)..so that diversity of defenders come into play.

    Make it skill based, which means bringing back defender kill points.

    Remove dexterity interaction with Mystic Dispersion! This was one of the biggest problems in AW. Moving back is not a buff!

    REMOVE the concept of diversity points altogether! It's a war! Best defenders only! Who cares if you fight 4 Mordo's and Magik's in a row! Dexterity will no longer interact with MD so you can't evade yourself do death like in the past. To deal with limbo max out pacify, bring in Dr Voodoo and use it on an odd combo, or bring in Archangel! Mystics will be less effective so Kabam can start giving us good defenders from different classes if they like! You can't force diversity in this game. People gravitate towards the best defenders. You can't force people to use worse defenders and bring back defender kills at the same time.

    Remove empty tiles, wasted movements, and portals. Not necessary at all. Bring back the old map, the new one is hideous and awkward.

    Increase rewards. 6*s are coming out and we were promised more access to 5*s shards, T2a, and T5bs.

    And the most important point of all, it should NOT be based on spending! It's supposed to be about fun and technique. Don't make it difficult, but not easy either. Take out all unavoidable damage nodes like Thorns, Starburst, Degen, Slashed Tires, etc..

    If you want to make it tougher in other areas, reduce the cost of potions significantly and include potions and revives in map crystals and other areas of the game.

    This is just a start. Many others have made great points on the forum about how to make war better. Don't pick and choose what to add, it needs to be balanced.
