Enemy at full health afyer getting KO

I was in quest , and had to go for some work , so I paused the game , after I returned my session was times out , and when I staty the fight again and defeated the opponent , he was back at thr same health before start of fight , I mean I had to spend revive and health pots to clear it , and I don't spend , so doea that mean , I have to leave the game , please answer
