To awaken Ghost or not?

I've got a 5-star Ghost and have her at Rank 3. About to take either her, my duped Human Torch, or Stealth Spidey to Rank 4. But I have a tech awakening gem available, and I'm wondering if I should use it on Ghost? I've heard she's great without being awakened, but also that awakening her takes her to another level.

Along with that, if she was awakened, would she need a high sig,

    Awaken ghost, you won’t regret it. And no, she doesn’t need high sig.

    I awakened her, and put 99 sig stones, I don't have any regrets, she's such a beast
