Awakening medusa for act 6.2.2 sinster counter?

I'm preparing for act 6.2.2 sinster boss, but unfortunately I don't have any reliable counters even after trying for cosmic/tech 5* crystal, nor have heimdall in higher stars. That leaves me with only option is to use generic on medusa and use her. what do you guys think is she worth using gem and for this fight? Should I spend my generic stone on medusa or wait?
[P.s. I also got champs like cull obsidian , silver surfer , anhillius all duped which have furies but no immunities, please give suggestion over this as well]

What rank? I tried an R3 and found she didn't hit hard enough and coz of that thing that turns buffs into damage she didn't last long anyhow.
Ended up reviving through with Nick Fury.

If you are planning do act 6 completion and this exact fight is your only roadblock, it's a good option, if she's R4 use some boosts for safety. But if you don't want to go for all act just wait a bit

I'm not really sure about that generic gem usage, but a rank 4+ Medusa could do that fight in a couple of revives.

I used my rank 4 when doing that fight, I would reccomend boosting up (not required but saves revives), wait until she gets 1 Fury and only then start attacking, and try pushing Mr sinister to sp2s if you can dodge it. The despair mastery is also extremely useful, I would reccomend maxing it out if you are going to go for it
