Summoner Showdown not for people without Medusa and suicides?

So after watching multiple videos it seems like the go to champ will be Medusa spamming sp3 with full suicides on, which means that only summoners who've unlocked suicides can really compete with a chance to qualify. Not really sure how that's considered fair when you make it a point to say that no Boosts can be active during your run as it will disqualify you. When you open up people to being able to use their masteries as a boost then it throws the even playing field out the door.
You should have given everyone access to the whole MCOC Champs Roster at 4* r5, but bare bones without any masteries just for that event to make it a fair contest (like you did at Comic Con).
As it stands, you'd need thousands of units to unlock full suicides to even stand a chance. Good idea on the contest, but failed execution in this respect.

they are currently, before the competition even began and in practice, been beating it in about 7.5 minutes, that means it can probably be beat without suicides.

Also suicides are not boosts, they are masteries , if you expect them to disable that then bye bye to parry and dexterity masteries too.

It's doable without suicides, but faster with them, with high DPS, so right there you lose on 2 of the defined criteria for judging.

All masteries should be auto disabled at summoner showdown qualifiers (except parry and dexterity).
That would create a more fair ground for all players to compete.
Also the coldsnap node was a very bad idea from Kabam’s end. They just created another 6.2 Sinister fight despite the huge feedback they had back then for these very limiting fights.
Now, those without full suicides and without any of the very few champs that can take the fight better not even try it.
