Does ultrons awakened ability work vs. Havok

Ultrons awakened ability is absorption which he regenerates and gains power from energy based attacks. I've been looking around and can't find an answer if this works against havoks plasma detonation. I would appreciate anyone who knows from experience.

It won't, I remember one time someone asked about why he's not regenerating from electro static shock, the answer was that his sig works when he's attacked by the enemy
Havok plasma detonation is not the dmg that triggers when he attacks you (of course it can happen when he attacks you, but detonation is not happening because of the attack but from plasma build up that happen in few ways), so it won't work
