Doctor Strange on Power Gain Node in Alliance War

Historically, power gain from node buffs did not affect the rate at which Doctor Strange gained power. I just fought DS on node 53 (100% power gain) and the buff did increase his power gain. Is this an intentional change, or is it a bug?

As for that power gain hyperion gets full effect of it so why not DS

I confirm this issue. The same happened no my alliance mate on the same node

Why not? Because Kabam has said explicitly, more than once, that it does not.

Ds clearly doesn't get power when hit, the node shouldn't affect his power at all.
