What is better to rank up?

So I have extremely limited resources and getting T2 Alpha is a very slow process . So I am wondering what will be more useful. Bringing one of my R4 five stars to R5 or bringing two of my five stars to R4 ? My main goal is monthly and side is use and alliance quest and occasional war. This is my five star roster

    Archangel is already R4 so he would be R5
