AI throws special when trying to punish their heavy

Hi
I was exploring variant 5 and this happened three times. First time I thought I was late to dash in after the AI threw a heavy attack. Second time it looked weird because I knew I was not late that time and the third time it happened it pissed me off.
Basically if the AI has a bar of power and you are trying to bait the special attack, and he throws a heavy. So when you dash back to dodge the heavy and charge in to punish the heavy, he throws special at your face while you are charging at him.

Where it happened? - Variant 5
Whom was I fighting against? 1. Red Hulk, 2. Colossus, 3. Diablo
Champs I was using? 1. Doctor doom, 2. Black widow Claire voyant
Device: iPhone 7+

HAHAHA ya man. They taught the AI that trick after this last patch! Basically, they set you up throwing that heavy knowing you’ll dex it and charge in to punish it and then BAM, immediately launch that special. Cute huh?

Now you wonder, how the HECK can they recover from whiffing a heavy and launch a special before you can dash in and hit them??? It’s the AI’s ability to INSTANTLY launch a special unlike us dummies that have to press a button (and most the time miss by a fraction of an inch and hit block instead, you know you do it too lol). Ever fight a defender with power gain or on a power gain node and they go from having just under a bar of power to launching a special right in your face before you even see the damn bar change color and cross over to full??? Ya, that’s what Im talking about. AI doesn’t have to deal with pesky fingers and reaction times and as such, if they want to, they can make the AI do stuff we can’t (even though they CLAIM they don’t). Period.
