No Suicide masteries for variant 5

Hi everyone,
I noticed people who normally run suicides masteries on youtube have turned them off for variant 5.
I did my initial run with suicides, and basically most people always say they use them with new content to make it easier.
I was wondering why for this piece of content they all turned them off.
Is that specifically because of the champions they use? Or does it have other reasons.
I was thinking about turning them off, but was wondering what the idea behind it is.
