Tier 4 Catalysts?

Is there a way to get tier 4 class catalysts without being in an alliance? I know there's the weekly event, but it would take an insane amount of time (over a year) to get the catalysts needed to level up 1 champion per class. I'm currently stuck with a bunch of rank 4 - 4 star champions with no way to upgrade them. I just feel like I'm at a dead end as they're not strong enough (at least not at my skill level) to move forward.

    pretty much yeah. aq and glory are pretty much the only reliable source of it

    That's a shame. Seems like really bad game design.

    There is also the Tier 4 Catalyst arena, the monthly login and the appreciation calendars have a few. The daily quest also. They aren’t easy to get by design. Also, the month’s EQ has quite a bit pending on the difficulty.

    I generally agree though, they are a little “too hard” to come by.
