So, what happens to the pieces if we don't collect them all? I don't do incursions often, and if I did, i wouldn't drop 20,000 artifacts on a piece. I did the mutant quest the other day (before the bug) and got his mouth. I have no use of this item.

For the record, I am not asking for anything other than an explanation on what happens to the pieces if not used.

    They will come back in the future. You will have more opportunities to acquire them

    As far as I know, nothing. They just stay in your inventory until you've got all 5 pieces and you buy Platpool. If you never buy Platpool, then they will stay there forever
