Mojo is weird and may not be functioning properly against champions who extend buff duration

Ok, so I love Mojo he's my favorite champion in the game and was my first R5 but man is his anti-life field strange. To cut to the chase when a champion like Hyperon has increased buff duration Mojo will cut the initial buff duration down by 90% but the duration added by his sig ability will stay the same. So take for example there would a character who has a buff lasting 10 seconds and an ability that had 50% increased duration making the total 15 seconds, Mojo will cut the 10 seconds down to 1 but the 5 seconds added will not be affected leaving the new duration to be 6 seconds. His abilities don't say base duration is reduced it just says "any buff triggered on the opponent had 90% reduced duration". Also, hater buffs are not affected by buff duration bonuses at all when by all accounts they should be. I don't know if this is a bug or intentional but I would like clarity, thank you.

It is intentional. If a buff has increased duration due to an node or ability, mojo will subtract 90% of it's total.
A buff by it's base has 100% duration. If a node increases it by 20%, it will be 120% duration. If Mojo subtracts 90% of it, it will left 30% duration.
