Mastery cores

Why haven’t we seen more of these as rewards?

I know about the ones from the classic V’s.

We can get 2 AG in minutes, something that was a hundred bucks at one point. Or 2k units in a recent offer. Carb core in the Pirates thing? ...NOPE!. Small cores anywhere else...nope! Am I making a big fuss because this is my millionth account I’ve started....yes. The thought of spending that many HARD earned units on cores makes me sick to my stomach.

Has kabam simply given up on them? Plenty of “?” In the masteries. Wouldn’t you want us to keep believing that one day you’ll come up with more masteries to use any saved up cores from rewards?

I think it's just something they never really had that often, though I'm not saying they should never have it. i think they're hesitant to give out stuff you have to buy with units

Great suggestion OP, noticed theyve been for sale with money lately but it would be nice to have them available for f2p as well

Speaking of rockets junkyard. I have 5000 scrap that I never used because I stopped playing that month and came back to the game later.

It’s just odd. It’s a tough choice to make as a beginner, either spend on crystals, energy refills, or cores. Crystals aren’t a great idea, new accounts now a days constantly pull 4*’s. Maybe it’s not as bad as it used to be in 2015. Refills will help summoner level ups and clear quests for more rewards. Cores are just a pain to get, unlocking one thing at a time and each time feeling the kick in the 🤬.

For all the money grab posts on content. I’ve never agreed, either I can do the content work skill or I won’t do it at all.

This leaves us with the choice of buying units or using those months long saved up units on cores.

I’m guessing most but units for them or buy the core offers that pop up.

That’s why they aren’t worried about making them a reward.

    Just my opinion

Once mastery points is obtained, I recall seeing $4.99 stony cores offer popping up.

    Edit: Found one.
