Is Sym Supreme good in Variant 5?

Ive 100% Variant 2-4 and want to tackle Variant 5 next. Atm, my only good symbiote/spidey/mystic champs is a R5 Doom.

I have a duped Sym Supreme at R4 and am rhinking of ranking him to R5 to clear Variant 5. Is this a good decision? I dont really use sym supreme anywhere else so this rank up would be just for variant 5

    He put in a fair bit of work for me, he’s not as good as doom for it, but he can cover a fair bit of ground
