A random idea I had for a possible Karnak buff

I was watching a Brian Grant crystal opening, and he pulled a 5* Karnak and mentioned he’s someone who could use a buff. I thought about it for a second and wondered what his kit would be after an overhaul. I’m not extremely well-versed in comic knowledge, but if I’m not mistaken, Karnak has the ability to see/sense enemy weak points, allowing him to always strike the opponent in the most damaging location.

With that in mind, I thought it could be really cool if Karnak could become the first champion in the game with a 100% critical rating. Now obviously in most cases this would seem very overpowered, but with some tuning, I think it would be possible to find a way to make his crit damage rating/ attack rating low enough at base so that he doesn’t instantly plow through any fight he goes into that’s not a Mr. Sinister/Maw.

I think through the rest of his abilities it would be really cool for him to just have different ways of powering up his damage, maintaining it, and honestly it would be really cool if he still has ways to mitigate debuffs since that is a really nice piece of utility he already has.

Not looking for Kabam to read this and immediately see this and announce his buff in the comments or anything like that, but I’m just wondering what people think about the ideas I had for Karnak. Out of all the characters in the game, I definitely don’t think he’s in the most dire need for a buff, but it would be cool to see him get some love somewhere down the line.

    You have lot of champions with guaranteed crits which is esencially your idea.

    Also his crit rating even now is around 5k in Focuesed which is more than 70% chance for crit and his damage output is still pathetic.

    But i totally agree that he deserves complete overhaul. He has really great potential with his comics abilities to be insane burst crit champion after some short ramp up maybe.

    Honestly, I think just giving him 100% crit chance is kinda boring, no offense to your idea.

    Karnak, as you mentioned, finds his opponent's weaknesses. He should be able to analyze his opponents and after 20 seconds (giving Karnak time to gauage his opponent) he can counter their main mechanic (excludes mutants for the sake of balance).

    Spiderverse characters? After 20 seconds, Karnak receives a permanent passive true strike for the fight.

    Robots? After 20 seconds, Karnak has an X% chance to place an armor break on basic (or maybe heavy) attack. His revamped synergy with Medusa can make it so each armor break lowers ability accuracy by a certain amount.

    There'd be more for the various kind of characters, but I can't think right now. Either that or, if that seems too OP, after 20 seconds he gets a unique boost based on what class he is facing.

    That's a great idea. A bit like She-hulk's sig ability though
