What should I do with my masteries?

Here’s what my masteries look like currently.



I had the xp masteries maxed because I didn’t have enough mastery cores to unlock anything else useful to put my points in so where should I put the rest now that I have more units?

You still don't have nearly enough for dispair/deep wounds/willpower so I wouldn't worry about masteries for now. Just dump what you have left in greater strength (by far the best temporary investment for when you have more mastery points than units) and wait till you have enough for the ones I said. Althernatively if you have alot of regen champs recovery could be a worthwhile investment, but again you don't have enough units. It would help give more specific advice if you posted your roster as well, to see if suicides are worth it etc.

Also I’m slightly behind most people on the summoner appreciation calendar so I still have 700 units to collect from that.

In that case you'll have enough to get 1 rank of dispair. I wouldn't bother with recovery with that roster, and I'm pretty 50/50 on if it's worth getting suicides (some benefit but it'll really screw over your torch, and your 5*s aren't really fussed either way), either way that's going to take a lot of time (or money if you're not f2p). I'd save 1 point for dispair and dump the rest in greater strength for now, either that or leave them sat there unused for months until you get like 3k units to max out the good masteries. If you plan to get suicides at any point I'd put 2 more points in stand your ground so you can unlock willpower later as well.

@Lobster44 thank you for the responses and one last question. Should I put some of those points in glass cannon? I’ve read some stuff about masteries and most people have said it’s useful but is it worth the cores/units?

In my opinion it's not worth it at this point, you can't get suicides now (or even soon most likely), you haven't got deep wounds, you have a ton of mastery points spare and not many units. Max greater strength is actually better than max glass cannon, the reason that late on people use glass cannon instead is because you don't have enough mastery points, which isn't your issue right now. Obviously when you're getting suicides it's necessary and when you have a ton of units and don't need to save for the expensive masteries you may as well get it but it's a luxury that's not worth it for now.
