Possible Life Transfer Bug

I was 100% exploring 5.1.x and the levels I was doing had Life Transfer on every node.
I am pretty sure, but not completely sure, that if I end the match with a Special 3 then my champ does NOT get the corresponding Health increase to match the damage done by the Special 3, to take into the next match.

This is how it works
Soooo... don't end the match on any special move? Seems strange - it might historically be what happened, but is it what should happen?
Or hope Kabam reconsider.
Damage first, then fight ends, right?
So logically if the Life Transfer gives me life at the same time as the damage is done ('The Opponent suffers a permanent Degeneration effect losing 2% of their Max Health per second, but Lifestealing 125% of their Damage done. The Lifesteal percentage is affected by Class Relationships.') then the life should be stolen before the fight ends.
Or at the least, if the Special 3 doesn't do all the damage in one move (for example it's a beam that does damage over several seconds) then all the damage except the very last one that does the KO should be lifestolen, in the same way that the other specials do. Why should Special 3 be different than Special 2 or 1? They stopped that a while back, in terms of power gain etc., so why not this?
Look, I get that this is possibly how it was. And I know you can say this is how it is. But is it logical or right or desirable that it is how it will be in the future? Or does it make better sense if it is changed?
After few frames.
When either of the champs reach 0 health all the calculation are stopped so no champ lose extra health due to a DoT effect.
The only thing that happens during sp3 is taking damage from sp3 ONLY and no other source(s).
So:
1) Health gained has a very brief delay after the damage
2) Nothing happens in SP3 except damage from SP3.
Still, it seems to me it's debatable whether the health should kick in if they die mid SP3.
I mean, damage is happening, so reasonably there should be health restored, even with that short delay. Personally I'd say it's fair for it to happen invisibly at the end of the Special 3, but that's because I think it's only fair that if damage can happen in the SP3 and be carried on to the next match then similarly the health restoration should be able to happen in the SP3 and be carried forward.
And if the SP3 completed before KO then various effects would kick in on some kind of brief timeframe (the defender would get power, and additional damage would occur - the latter eg when people collapse and die immediately AFTER the SP3 animation ends, and I wonder in that situation whether the health is gained before they collapse and die, another 'edge case').
Well, I guess it's up to Kabam to decide what is right.
Thanks again for your helpful post.
