How good is the despair mastery?

I'm free to play, but I want to invest in a couple of worth-it masteries. I hear lots of good things about Despair. Would it be worth saving the units?

Depends on your roster. Any champ who places lost of debuff will benefit. I recently maxed Despair since I had CAIW, Elsa, Medusa and Sunspot at 5/65. And trust me, i didn't regret adding points in Despair. Helped a lot in Act 6.1 fights.

Despair is always nice to have.
It is also a doorway to other good masteries like deep wounds and assassin
