Monster Shard Crystal confusion. Please clarify!

So, I did the Hades invasion earlier and got the Monster Crystal shards after completion, and decided to re-inter to farm up more keys and souls. For some reason I got Crystal shards again.
Is this intended or wut, or are the Invasions still broken? I mean, apparently it’s already fixed. Man this may be one of the most broken side quests updates ever.
