I have already iterated through this quest once - if I delve back in I am still able to obtain this valuable resource

Should I even have the ability to iterate through this content again or perhaps these fights are bugged to provide you this loot or maybe not

Can someone help me out?

    I'd don't get you. I didn't get a key yesterday because it was not there yesterday
    No it was temporarily available yesterday. However, it was taken down due to a loop exploit.

    Crystal shards are the ONLY thing you're not supposed to get more than once per day. Collect all the keys and souls you want.
