Cavalier EQ just not worth doing! (Because of rewards)

My rant is not because of difficulty. But because of the difficulty (and I know I know it’s not hard for some of you) but because of the difficulty time and effort to get through this without using resources for most of us that are cavalier it’s just simply not worth doing it. I know many people out there say it’s not tough or you’re not ready I watch many of the content creators and maybe they’re not the best but I would say they’re better than most that are cavalier. I’ve seen even them have issues with certain parts and have to use resources. So that being said. What’s the point to create content that maybe 1% can get through with without any real issues, When just an initial run through doesn’t even give you half of a five star champion? My opinion is for most that are cavalier this is still going to be a grind and take some time even just for completion unless you’re going to use units and a bunch of resources which is fine but if that’s the case then you should be rewarded for it! The rewards are far beyond underwhelming which make doing it in my opinion not worth it. I get people still like it for the challenge but there’s so much other content in this game that is a challenge where the rewards are far better and not all of us have endless time. I just don’t understand why put out a new flag ship difficulty when if not all, at least 90% feel the rewards are not just lacking but far underwhelming? if most feel this way two months in, how bad are these rewards going to seem i. six months from now or much less a year? Just frustrating wish I had a reason to at least feel rewarded after putting myself through the grind. Nothing better than the satisfaction and elation you get when you get real rewards for grinding through something. I get far better rewards from the glory store in a month then I do from this new flag ship difficulty! I love this game And think the creators of it have created something amazing. It just seems like there’s a disconnect somewhere with the company? I appreciate they have been more transparent but wish they would be even a little more especially when majority of the community has an issue with some thing where is looking for more clarity with some thing? Rant over. Lol

    Just for some perspective I would have to do this event fully explored for three months just to have enough tier 5 basic to rank up one 5star from rank 4 to 5? And two months of full expiration would give me one 6star? If this difficulty was created for tap end players I can’t imagine that these rewards are satisfying.

    I totally get that but I don’t think that that’s why they went through all this trouble creating this difficulty was so that some could just let loose. Lol. Even though there are moments like that that are satisfying. Still not enough in my opinion to beat myself up to get through this. I’m sure I’ll probably get the completion when I get time but there’s no reason to grind for the exploration.

Hard work pays off or is supposed to? Lol. The one thing I would definitely change is the health pools are ridiculous. They could easily come down 100 K each. But that’s just my personal opinion

    Absolutely I completely agree it should be difficult like I stated put the rewards don’t equal the difficulty not even close. There’s no incentive to work towards it for many players. Do you think the people that didn’t have to spend units or resources when this released that those rewards even remotely did anything for their account? Like the person above stated this just separates the people that spend with the people that do not spend even more. The amount you get for spending now increase is greatly at least every six months but the in Rewards do you not seem to be progressing near at that rate.

    That is your opinion. It did things for my account, and I did not have to spend units, even on the 4* challenge. The people who it does not aid in doing each month are the same people who dont really need the monthly eq because they are banging aw and aq for the rewards, and eq will never be much. They are not going to target the rewards at the top 1%.

    Cavalier EQ is (at least currently) focusing on your roster diversity. It can be disturbing to not have a specific kind of champion for that particular quest, but at the same time, I'm really enjoying being forced to not play with my top 5 team. (and in the long run, this will force you to diversify your roster, similar to what's happening on Variants).

    Just as an example, I have a 5* R5 Corvus which is not very useful on the Cosmic Path this Month (unless you bring synergies). Nevertheless, I'm having a great time with my 6* r1 Angela (who I actually NEVER played before).

    I also think that rewards might not be that great but I totally agree with @OneManArmy about global nodes being awesome (I just hope they are not the same every month).

    games like this are all about small increments over time. does what I got from this specific quest have any massive immediate impact for me? of course not. why does that matter though? if those shards lead to me getting another featured 6* crystal and duping Guardian or I end up getting Wolvie from the 5* featured I'd say that's a positive. it's all just accumulation of chances at a positive impact. something that's done every single month doesn't have to be account changing it just has to add to the pile. i'm not saying it would break the game if rewards got a very slight increase but I certainly don't think they need anywhere near the increase most people here seem to.

    My problem is the huge health pools. I’m a recent cavalier and I had no problem getting 1.1 done but as soon as it came to 1.2 with that annoying diss track node I was finished. My best bet was torch but he is a 4 star and I have to play perfectly unless I will lose items that I can barely afford fast or my BWCV who atm doesn’t hit too hard since I have just r4d her and don’t have the iso to take her up

    I agree. Love the difficulty but it really doesn't feel like it's worth the effort with those mediocre rewards.

    I like the difficulty, i like the variation, and. I like that some paths buff up specific champs much like variants of the past. But the rewards are strictly below average, and underwhelming, we’re two months in and they could already use a slight buff. Difficulty and rewards should correlate, if one spikes the other should. But frankly, the rewards on show aren’t up to standard.
