is there a big difference in power or ability using an awaken gem vs duping the character?

Awakening just give 1

I know that but would a duped champion be the same in power of that of a crystal awakened champ fed with sigs to the same level?

Yes, no difference.

If you dupe Iceman, he would be the same as an awakened Iceman + 19 sig stones

thanks darkest I always wondered if awaken and level up with a gem and sig stones made them a paper champion and not as powerful as a duped champion so even if you triple dupe a champion even it makes no difference in power interesting.
