Alliance War Bug

Hi, my IGN is - TapTapRevenge
I'm experiencing a wierd alliance war bug. I have 5 champions selected for the defence phase ,but when I try to actually place them, the game just disconnects instead. An alliance member brought it to my attention that I had not brought any defenders. Which is weird because my champion pool says the champions I chose are in the defense phase. There are also 2 messages saying I joined the battlegroup. Does anyone else experience this issue? Or know a fix for this? I would like to place my defenders before the defense phase ends.
