Samsung s9 no longer supported ????

Hi so a top guy in my alliance is experiencing some major bs. On his s9 game taking 5 mins to load fights are freezing and killing him had visual issues and an array of other problems. Is his phone to old now ? Any other s9 users suffering the same problems ???

    Have an s9+ and seems load time opening the game up is longer than usual.
