Missing Monsters & Hunters Crystal shards

Any else’s monsters and hunters crystal shards going down the more you get? I had 4300 and went to go get a crystal, showed I had 3800. Completed an event and received 400 shards and went to get a crystal, said I only had 3400...... What’s going on?

    you can see by clicking on the shards in objectives, or going to the store and see how many you can buy

    Yeah I've been using the store to get an approximate count. But I knew there was a way to see the exact total, just forgot what it was. Thanks!
