Nick Fury, is he needed for abyss easy path?

I am currently planning my first clear in the abyss. The team I am planning on using is:

5/65 aegon Sig 200
5/65 doom Sig 20
5/65 torch Sig 20
Nick Fury
1/25 quake ( for evade charges)

The problem is that I do not have fury above a 4 star, and after opening dozens of skill dual crystals I'm starting to lose hope.

Aside from the evade charges, is fury really that needed for the abyss? Thinking of saving around 6K units for the easy path.

You don't need the evade charges.
Fury is useful to replace Aegon in some fights, in case you didn't had him. And is better than him against Invisible Woman.
And on another note, if you have Symbiote Supreme, he is overall better than Doom for the easy path

I took him but his best use was being dead.
