In my opinion

Attempting to nerf backdraft intercepting broke the game. Changing recovery time off the block and wall has affected every champ and mode negatively. With different animations, different dash spacing, and overall champ design (size, how much space they take up, etc), there was NO way that a fix such as described could have been a one all. And it seems as though as you try and balance this between all the different champs, the game breaks more. Parry is unreliable as ever. Not to mention every bug imaginable. In my opinion, u saw something that players adapted as a threat to your business. I quit the game last time because of the bugs it brought about. And it's getting worse as time goes on

btw AI is the opponent in case you dont know
Jk
Question, how is parry unreliable?
Is this like an endgame thing with block damage or am I just not in my element anymore 🥴
2. You have no idea what I mean fluffy paws so try again. Yes you can do the modified backdraft but thats not true backdrafting. And you can't tell me you can do it reliably after hitting into their block because...
3. You all have no idea what I mean. You weren't here beforehand obviosuly and if you were you are ignorant to the changes. They did not make the a.i. more passive (or so they claim that they never change a.i.. the passive
stuff came later than this nerf). When you backdraft and miss the timing and hit into their block you were still able to back up and intercept. Now the a.i. recovers faster after hitting their block and off the wall and after a special. Means they can dash faster. Hence, nerfing it from its 100% guaranteed intercepting to what we have now
4. This increased recovery and faster dashing capabilities have affected the game. Try and argue but it's true
You may as well start living with it as it won't change anytime soon.
You creating a thread won't do shite to change anything.
I'm terrible at intercepting so I wouldn't know 🤷♂️
Watch any footage from Magik back in the day and she just used to destroy people through intercepting when they were blocking against the wall using the method mentioned above. Pretty clear it’s changed and it is a huge issue. But ah well
The only party problem I know of is with the Magneto (House of X) pre-fight ability.
If parry is not issuing the stun or parry is not applying when you parry then you should put in a ticket. Have you put in a ticket?
Either way, that’s my experience and I haven’t noticed many changes. But your experience could be different
Watch from 0:42. I’m not talking about the missed light attacks whilst Magik is dashing back. We are simply referring to the now inability to dash out and back in after hitting into the block. You hit into the block twice and dash out in today’s game, the defender is at your feet and you can’t intercept them. If anyone has gameplay of them being able to do it in today’s game then please do show it.
Must be a 2 hit into the block intercept. I get that you can somewhat do it by light attacking and getting lucky. Kabam aren’t looking into this because it no doubt helps there wallets (potentially ignorant claim I know)
Back in the day, backdraft was something almost every champion could consistently do freely. Nowadays, draft backs with medium attacks can risk you getting intercepted by your opponent, and draft backs with your light attack can lead to you missing your light attack due to late reaction from the AI. Guess what happens next...
As for any backdrafts from blocking, they are completely unreliable. As for the examples I mentioned above, it is only about a 95% success rate.
