Why does Mordo take so much longer to block after combo?

Any other champ I can reliably do a 5 hit combo and then immediately block, parry, and repeat, but with Mordo it seems like he takes twice as long to start blocking. What's up with that?

This is a bug that has existed for at least five months. Kabam seriously needs to fix this.
