Ok, so this season, my ally finished 170th or something in AW(Silver1), so is it possible that we might sneak into gold 3 through the backdoor because of the ban wave, because I'm hearing reports of people moving up a rank due to the leaderboard adjustments.

    If you are in silver 1 right now then the standings are final. So most likely no, you won't move up anymore.
