The game team has resolved this issue. Keys will be distributed via in-game messages and the quest timer will be extended.
More information and timeline here.
*This includes currently unclaimable keys as well*
**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

Why is moleman so bad?

So why is moleman regarded as a bad champion? From his description, he sounds like you just need to parry and heavy to get a lot of damage in.

    His damage is trash

Everyone was hyped about him from his description - either no ones figured out an effective way of using him yet, or his just not that great.

I sound like a broken record at this point, but point A I believe.

He was an absolute beast in this months side quest, Hades Invasion (shock path).
IMO he's a hella good champ, if you use him right he can plow thru opponents with his crits. Hes basically a skilled Corvus..

I suspect that he has the same issue as Kingpin (another somewhat lackluster champ): He's designed to be a tricky defender, and ramps up to an aggressive phase by powering up on debuffs.

This makes him a potentially decent champ, but only in the right situations.

In a typical fight he'll probably be a bit rubbish.

In an evade fight (like Mixmaster) or against an opponent like MODOK, his True Accuracy will be plenty valuable.

However, if you seek out a fight with unavoidable debuffs (plenty of nodes for this; like Long Distance Relationship, Rain of Fire, Energy Adoption, Biohazard) he'll ramp up fast and aggressively. In these fights, he's probably decent.

Think of him as a champion to (1) stick on AW defense, and (2) pull out of your pocket for certain debuff-heavy matches, and he's probably got some value.

He has the problem of damage or utility. Plus his base stats could use some love.

Speaking of Moleman, what happened to @TheKiryu 's vid about that Mercy path in Act 7 beta?
Seemed like Kabam are designing a path that only Moleman can counter.

His damage rampup is a bit too long and doesn't enough of a payoff and he sacrifises a very useful utility in the process.

His ok. But like the synergies he gives to Doom and Abomination (who is juiced up with Red Guardian and Modok synergies)
