My Thoughts on Sasquatch

Sasquatch (AKA Bigfoot) is my newest five star in MCOC, and I gotta say, he’s excellent. Super tanky and a massive damage potential combine with a few other bits and bobs to make a character anyone should be happy to pull out of a crystal.
The Review:
His health is so. Freaking. High. It is (unless I’m mistaken) the highest health pool in the game, beating out King Groot and Immortal Hulk. This, as well as some other abilities discussed below, makes him a tank.
He’s immune to frostbite and armor break, and has 90% coldsnap resistance.
Passive regeneration! His Sp3 lets you regenerate 10% health over 5 seconds, and is increased by a flat 1% per rage stack. His sig ability also gives him a chance to regenerate health while below 40% from contact hits, and his regeneration cannot be inverted.
His sig ability also allows for him to become passively unstoppable during special and heavy attacks while in Wrath of Tanaraq, and reduces the opponents defensive combat power rate by 10-70% when struck by those attacks.
If the opponent has a buff or is suffering from a stagger, (which you can apply via heavy, they stack up to two) he gains +25% combat power rate, which goes up to +50% if the opponent has four of those effects.
Medium attacks have a 30% chance to inflict a rupture debuff dealing 1060.5 physical damage (on a 5/65) for 17 seconds. +70% chance while in Wrath of Tanaraq.
Light attacks have a 30% chance to build one rage, and it’s increased to 100% on the third light in a combo. You also gain one every 4.5 seconds Sassy-boy doesn’t land a hit. Each stack reduces incoming damage from everything but an Sp3 by 5%. Can’t be affected by ability accuracy. (but can be prevented if he has a enervate or exhaustion debuff)
If Sasquatch has 5 or more Rage stacks, each gained now has a flat 10% chance to activate Wrath of Tanaraq, the coolest sounding thing in this game. (Besides Aftershock, but I’m biased) Wrath of Tanaraq, (or WOT as I’m going to call it) lasts for 1.7 seconds per rage stack removed.
Whilst our Canadian Hulk is in WOT, he’s stun immune, gains a large amount of block penetration, and has +50% combat power rate. (couple this with a cosmic with four or more buffs and you’re having a laugh) His first 2 special attacks cost 50% less power, and his Sp3 costs 25% less power. Also, while the opponent has 3 bars of power, special and heavy attacks drain 5% of their max power.
His Special 1 refreshes all rupture debuffs, even in block. If the final hit is blocked, you have a 20% chance to stun them for 3 seconds, which becomes a 100% chance in WOT.
His Special 3, as we said earlier, gives regen based on rage stacks. It also gives him 5 stacks and immediately let’s you enter WOT.
His Special 2 is where the real damage is. The first 2 hits remove all rupture debuffs, gaining 2969.4 attack rating on a 5/65 five star. However, if you’re in WOT, this is increased by 50%. It’s nuts. If either of the first two hits crit, you’re dealing absolutely stupid damage. It’s nuts.
Some important synergies are with Squirrel Girl, which lets ruptures last 20% longer, and Sabretooth, which gives him +12% attack during WOT.
Now that I’ve gushed over him, his only problem is the lack of utility. He’s mainly a damage/tanky/ annoying on defense with good offensive potential character. He has next to nothing other than the stagger and coldsnap resistance/frostbite immunity.
In summary, my alliance leader @Thiros got it best: Sp2, Wrath of Tanaraq, win game.

This is who he reminds me of
(If you know, you know)
Been having tons of fun with him since. I’ve not yet had the chance to properly test him in much late-game content, but he’s been an absolute blast to use in EQ/SQ - and something about him just feels very solid in your hands.
Definitely not the most utility-heavy champ but very player-friendly and supremely satisfying to play, with (as you mentioned) very high sustainability and big damage that you can access relatively quickly and easily.
he's great but did you know he got nerfed down a bit? there's a thread about it.
Love him. Wanted him since his introduction. Opened a bunch of crystals when he came out and did not get him. Finally pulled him from a featured, took him all the way up and used a gem on him.
I am thinking to r4 this champ for Act 5.3.1.
I wouldn’t use an ag on him myself as it’s a chance to regenerate and then he becomes passively unstoppable in with during specials and heavies.
Nice bonus but nothing he needs that would require a gem. Can definitely do 5.3 unawakened
So really 2-3 champions besides Sasquatch.
For you it would come down to saving for better option, prestige for Doom in the long-run, or using on Sasquatch for a sub-par short term gain.
