Rooted extended duration after parrying first hit of heavy

I was rooted vs antman fighting with NF. He threw his heavy and I parried the first hit of his heavy. I was then rooted for about 20 seconds, while antman kept throwing combos, until he threw his sp3. I was unrooted after the sp3 animation.
