Cav Warlock fight (and others) Degen with no power drain , cause ?

Anyone know why he instantly degens you when you get infected but have not yet been power drained.

Fight I’m referring to is this months cav quest 2.1 , 1* path. I was infected and instantly was hit with degen

Warlock can power drain and degen when the opponent heals. Since you probably have willpower active, that's why.

Prolly because of Willpower that causes you heal then that heal causes power burn that causes degen. Not sure tho
