For those who have used NIck Fury and suicides, I have a question for you

So I'm sitting on my awakening gem and considering using it on him as I've seen him to be a very good Skill champ, especially after the awakening. My concern is that when he is in his "real Nick Fury" stage, his health declines a bit and since I use double-edge I am wondering if that will prevent him from being as effective as he is known for. Any feedback and insight is greatly appreciated.
