Broken interaction of Ghost against Namor

Hey everyone.
I just recently noticed a weird interaction with Ghost when fighting Namor. You san see a video of such fight below (you can try it yourself in a duel, it's pretty easy to "make it happen").
Namely, if you fight pretty aggressively and immediately counteract Namor's attack, you deal zero damage and you receive back the damage that Namor was supposed to receive. I perfectly understand how Namor's ability works, but even if you look close in the video you can see that he was not attacking, while taking zero damage. Therefore he shouldn't have reflected any damage at all.
It's pretty annoying, because you start the fight and without even noticing you are dead after a couple of hits. Is Namor's ability really supposed to work this way?
