Launching into a heavy attack while in a light combo

I've had an issue with all of my characters launching into heavy attacks while in the midst of a light combo or during an intercept. Initially thought it was a phone issues until I upgraded to the iPhone 12 and it is still doing so! It's cost me resources especially during AQ/AW.
