@Liss_Bliss_ It would be one thing if he was saying to save it when these options weren't all that great, but Ghost is a top notch option for a Generic AG and they're becoming readily available.

And he makes a good point too. Say i'm a uc summoner and about to get my first r4. I could rank up this nice killmonger here, but why? What if I get a nick fury right after? It's alright. You'll get him ranked eventually. Same with a gem. If you have an excellent option right now, there's no reason to wait. Ghost and Colossus are easily both generic ag options. If it was magneto, then I'd advocate for waiting or saving. But there's no reason to save the gem when you have an excellent option currently.

You used a gem and got a better option for it later on. Awesome. What if you don't get that nick fury or omega red for a while? You'd regret not using it right now if awakening someone right now would have progressed your account a lot. All that time is wasted.

In some examples, it comes down to whether you want to take the gamble, but I'd say in this specific scenario, there's no reason to wait. And I reaaally don't get how he's being a troll or a jerk.

And to actually answer op's question, I would probably go for colossus. I think both are at the top echelon of champs and both gain a lot from their awakened ability, but from personal experience, colossus' is more necessary IMO. It does suck going from an awakened to unawakened ghost, but I think colossus gains a whole new level. That's my opinion, and it's to disagree

No. He didn’t debate it. He made a smarmy comment and tried to compare saving a resource that’s not able to be farmed to those that are. A debating comment would have been.

I'm not really sure how this counts as being a jerk. Anyway, awakening gems are becoming much more common, and we're almost getting an ag every month, with one or two examples with two ags. And with a generic this month, it's clear that availability of them is increasing. Holding the gem has no value. Using it on champions that will greatly progress your account has value.

He's pointing out why he thinks that logic is flawed or doesn't make sense. He's using the same logic and applying it to another scenario that's quite similar, and showing how that could fall through

And there you do it again. There is no need to add on items that are farmable. I’ve gotten more r5 materials than I have gotten AG’s. There is no comparison.
