Gifting 14 days grace period?

Does the 14 day alliance switch for gifting points and rewards eligibility start from the Dec 21st? If so there isnt time to switch alliances after the war season ending Dec 8th. Do we really have to sacrifice AW season rewards to make the change for gifting eligibility?

I think that you just can`t get milestones and give points until the 14th day. (or 15th) and you cannot get any milestones until that time, and not get the milestones they aquired prior.

The event is 14 days long. They are essentially saying that there is no point during those two weeks that you can switch out a member and have them ever be eligible to participate in the alliance rewards. So it seems you will lose a couple days of eligibility, but not much else, by changing on the 8th.

Who's interpretation is correct? Only Kabam truely knows. If its anything like regular rules to joining a new alliance, you have the timer which tells you when youre eligible for events rewards but when your timer clears and the event is still ongoing, you receive all milestone rewards. I remember watching someones YouTube vid on the cheating/hack scandal between the top 2 gifting alliances. The 1st place alliance swapped a lot of members during the event pushing the event favorites to 2nd. Feel like there should be a couple day grace period between War season completion and start of the grace period since that's when a lot of players move around.
