Hyperion - Worth Generic 5* Awakening?

Thinking of using my 1/only generic 5* awakening gem that I have, on Hyperion.
I really like him as a character (even unawakened), and should be ready to rank him up to rank 5, pretty soon.
Using that kind of gem always feels momentous, so, just like to get opinions on it.
Thanks in advance. All help and advice is very much appreciated.

    I used my first generic AG on him and... I have no regrets. His signature ability make all the difference, make him way more stable and trustworthy. He didn't need high sig too.
