Dear kabam all I want for christmas is a daredevill rebuff

Honestly, I think this is the worst buff ever. Let's pretend it was a beta and will it be fixed soon?

He has so many half-skills, none that make him really useful for something.

1) is not a real damage character. better aegon, fury, stealth, hit monkey, widow blade.....

2) is not a utility character. Better fury, gwenpool, falcon, elsa, trasher......

3) has a (constant but) ridiculous regeneration and with suicides he dies alone.

Maybe he is a good character for a middle player, but surely those at high levels will never bring him into the team because there are at least 3-4 characters better than him in everything.

Not every champ is going to get some insane buff. Some champs are going to remain average but they will be somewhat useable. You can't expect every character to be some "god tier" character. Is Netflix DD in a better place compared to pre rework? I'd say it is. Mission accomplished.

I expect an overhaul to atleast make me want to use him in the current meta. Both Colossus and Magneto became God Tiers. Has that somehow broken the game?

HB didn't even become God Tier and his overhaul makes him better. Falcon, who got a slight ability change, is better than Daredevil. I really don't see which node or scenario is going to want me to use DDHK

While I don’t think he should be rebuffed, I think he should be a little more compatible with suicides. I was thinking of making his rage passives instead of a debuff, but still treated as a debuff so it can get shrugged off and stuff (so essentially you don’t heal from willpower but it’s still a debuff) and then put his regen rate back at 100%. Alternatively maybe make the rage shorter but make his regen rate 60 or 70%, so then his willpower heal from the rage wouldn’t be changed much, but he would become more compatible with suicides.

Or, make rage reduce healing by a little bit, maybe 20%, and set the regen rate back to 100%, so then the rage reduces the healing gained to balance it, but the regen rate is still good for suicides.

Not sure, but personally I don’t think he needs a complete change. Maybe a tweak or two since, to me, he doesn’t feel complete. I don’t mind his rework not being gamechanging, but in my opinion, he should be at least able to be ran with suicides somewhat effectively. I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts on the new daredevil situation though.

Why are people fighting against others that want him to be actually useful in relative end game content? If you even mention that someone should be stronger, automatically people jump to "Corvus, Ghost, Magneto, etc". No one expected that, what we did expect was someone that could provide us with something useful for Book 2 and beyond (or any difficult content). You don't need to be Ghost or Colossus to be useful, but he isnt useful enough to rank up for the current meta.

When we have had "overhauls" in the past and we have received solid results, which is why the community was excited for this. Is being excited our own faults? Yes, obviously it is, because we do enjoy this game and wanted get to use a really cool marvel character. With this one, we can't, at least in meaningful content.

Were we truly expecting Colossus, Magneto, She Hulk overhauls? No, we were not, so stop making that comparison as a cop out. But we did expect something in line with Hulkbuster, Spidergwen, etc.

When it was buffed, he came out to be a meh, i didnt keep whining about it, there must be a lot more better champs in your roaster, focus on upgrading them

I guess everyone has their own opinion, but as far as I'm concerned Hulkbuster after his overhaul is actually 4th best champ behind Ghost, Warlock, and Guilly 2099. (but that's just my opinion)

Considering that Daredevil got an "overhaul" I think we all assumed this automatically meant he'd be better than champs who got tune ups and updates. I guess this month shows us and sets the stage moving forward, that overhauls don't automatically catapult a champ to the top 5 of their category, rather the term may refer to the amount of change and effort that goes into the champ's transformation.

Not for the massive portion of our player base that uses suicides, he's actually worse for them... so no, mission still in progress.

Look back at punisher 2099. He helped a guy win the semi-finals. His kit is more useful then you’d think.

His regen is very awful, I’ve been testing extensively. He’s on any team I use. Used him in incursion and it was so sad. Node combinations that champs will no regen but only WP do well, he’s just terrible at them. I’m really shocked about his buff. Was so hyped, brought me out of retirement.
He need his regen removed
And the fury value increased just a little and he’ll will excellent. No way will he be one of the best, but a champ many will enjoy using.

Change animation and made him more useless?
Dmg is almost same. Someone got drunk and changed his abilities to some random s.
Do kabam even know the basic concept of DD?
Netflix dumped him. I felt sorry for the character and the actor.
Now kabam is dumping him into oblivion. If he remain like this, i dont think he’ll have no place in this game.
Just awful. Pure disappointment. I don’t even know what to say to game team.

If this is the direction Kabam is aiming towards for all of the overhauls and buffs moving forward, then team, dont waste your time with it. Just use that time and money and focus on other aspects of the game. You kinda hyped up these "overhauls" and "buffs" to us, and really made it seem worthwhile, this one was a huge waste of time for everyone.

Please fix the regen, he needs a little more love than that to be good but without normal regen he is actually worse than before with suicides. Buffs should never result in a champion becoming worse in any department, especially something as common as suicide masteries.
