Punisher 2099 does not gain furies when performing well timed block on Power Technician node

All my tech champs gain a fury and power drain the opponent when parrying on the power technician node, on cavalier difficulty. Except for my Punisher 2099 which also happens to be my only 6* rank 3 champion.
