“Could not afford the Gacha spin” error

I got an error that read as the same as the title, and my 5* skill/mutant crystal got eaten. I’m gonna put in a ticket, but has anyone else experienced this?

I just got this after dropping 300 units for the Meta Mulaney crystal. No crystal after maintenance, no units refunded, and nothing in my alliance log. I submitted a ticket, and I hope we get a response
