Assassin or Deep Wounds

I have one point in Assassin and one in Deep Wounds. My only bleeder is Venom and I don't have any 5 or 6 star bleeder worth ranking up (yet). I want to add another point in one of these. With only one bleeder, is Deep Wounds worth bringing up before Assassin?
