Missing 5 star shards from anniversary gift

I have put in 2 support tickets now and got the same generic msg back. I received my anniversary gift and opened my 6 star crystal and got my champ from it and when I went to open a featured 5 star from the gift as the crystal was spinning the game crashed and I lost the shards and never got a champ from it. I know there is the banner that says about ppl not receiving the gift period but that is not the case with mine. A response from kabam would be nice other then the generic msg that my issue is not a part of. Thanks.
